A stretch of 154 acres, off Klein road and Farm-to-Market 1044, will become home to a new sports complex. The complex will include soccer, football, softball and baseball fields and will also feature green spaces, retail and other amenities.

The new sports complex was the leading purpose for Proposition 2 (Parks and Recreation) worth $16, 547, 420 in the bond that went before voters on May 4 of this year. Additionally, the New Braunfels Economic Development Corporation (aka 4B) will contribute $15 million toward the project; equaling over $31 million dollars to be invested in the project.
