Broadband service will soon be available for downtown New Braunfels businesses.

The New Braunfels Economic Development Corporation (4B) and New Braunfels City Council recently approved an expenditure of up to $400,000 awarded to Frantic Holdings to deliver high-speed broadband infrastructure to downtown commercial customers. The agreement allows for Frantic Holdings to use available city and New Braunfels Utility easements to deliver building connections, and in turn - have the ability to deliver affordable services.

Subsequently, Frantic Holdings will supply one GB high-speed broadband service to commercial customers at a price point of less than $100 per month.

High speed internet (Broadband) service has been a strategic goal for the New Braunfels EDC and the onset of the pandemic reinforced that broadband service was needed in the downtown area for downtown businesses to conduct their e-commerce business.
