It was another year of growth for New Braunfels businesses as both large and small companies continued to come into and expand in the city.
About 450 new primary jobs created from 15 companies came to fruition in 2017, with primary employers being those companies that produce a good or service to export from the area. That’s according to the 2017 Economic Benchmark Study.
Michael Meek, president of the Greater New Braunfels Chamber of Commerce, said New Braunfels has also seen 7.7 percent of growth in support (secondary) jobs.
