Every year, the Texas Education Agency releases an accountability rating for all Texas districts, down to the individual campuses.

This year, Comal ISD scored an overall 92-out-of-100 score in the 2019 TEA accountability ratings. Broken into three domains, Comal ISD scored; 91 for student achievement, 87 for school progress, and 93 for Closing the Gap. This score shows improvement compared to the overall 89-out-of-100 (B) given in 2018.

Additionally, Church Hill Middle School, Garden Ridge Elementary, Hoffman Lane Elementary, Memorial Early College High School, and Oak Creek Elementary, all earned an A.
