The Comal ISD has set May 2 for a district-wide bond issue of nearly $400 million. Superintendent Andrew Kim addressed attendees of the EDF annual meeting on February 11, focusing on Proposition B, a multi-purpose events center.
Proposition A will include two elementary schools, a middle school, other capital projects, and for land and buses acquisition. Proposition C will include girls/boys weight room, lockers, wrestling facilities, baseball/softball practice facilities, and a multi-use event center pavilion. Proposition D will be teacher and student instructional technology.
Kim noted the events center would serve districtwide events and competitions as well as community events. More information can be found on the CISD bond issue website.
